Pyramid PuzzleIn this 4-sided pyramid, each numbered brick is the sum of the two numbered bricks it rests on. The four numbers in the shaded corners represent the sum of the two numbered bricks that they touch. The top or central number is the sum of its four side bricks. We’ve filled in a few numbers to get you started. What number is in the very top brick? (Note: To help verify your answer, the last digit of the top number is an eight and summing of positive and negative numbers is included.) Solution: |
